We are here in Kumi! Just 25 hours after we met up at Heathrow the magnficent seven are safely in our hotel for the first day of our two week trip. We’ve been re-united with our old CWB friends Joseph, Manny and Tembo and met Johnathon. Oparak and Bryanour coaching companion for the next two weeks.

We’ve once more seen the varied aspects of this fascinating country, the friendliness, the courtesy, the landscape and the notorious traffic. Thanks to the congestion out of Kampala and on the road to Jinja it took eight hours to go from Entebbe to Kumi with only a short comfort break along the way. It’s a good job we get along so well. It’s also a blessing that we have a patient and expert driver in Joseph who navigated us safely through this evening’s thunderstorm.
Tomorrow we begin with a introductory session to local PE teachers in the morning and sessions with the youngsters fro three local schools in the afternoon. The first, live sessions for Holly, Alice and Ken the CWB newbies. They’ll be great.
