A short blog for Day 1 as it has been a day of travel with an overnight flight and the long coach trip up to the North West of the country.
After being treated to complimentary champagne on the flight (due to a pilot friend of Darryl’s!), our first day of travel threw us a bit of a curveball when a policeman took a hammer to our coach licence plates for a wheel alignment infringement. Despite having a small wild goose chase to recover the plates the rest of the journey was fairly smooth … the bumpy roads aside!
The long journey has left us pleased for a hot meal when we made it back to the hotel We are all geared up for a day of coaching tomorrow!
The internet in Arua may not allow us to upload photos but we will do what we can so keep checking!

Hi team! Glad you made it safely, hammer sitch aside. Get all your kit through ok; no confiscation issues? Looking forward to reading all about your adventures and hope the first day's coaching went to plan or if not you coped 😉
