The biggest thing that I’ve found so far this trip is that you need to be able to adapt and change your plans at the drop of a tennis ball: the best laid plans can altered or be thrown out the window at a moments notice. This can be from a change of schools, time or maybe just moving goats from the playing areas.
The team have been amazing to work with and we all understand that at times you need 5 mins just to cool down and gather your thoughts before another group of 200 children coming running down the hill singing and dancing in a way that I have never encountered.
I don’t honestly think anything could prepare you for what you would experience in Rwanda and I think that’s a good thing as it is a truly amazing and inspiring place to be giving me memories that will last a lifetime ❤
