Uganda for me proved to be far more than I expected, the sites the sounds and the people have left a permanent inprint in my memory. I was preverliged to be part of a great team, who throughout the 2 weeks pulled together and proved equal to the many challanges which presented themselves.

Whilst the trip was great fun and we shared many hilarious moments,it is important to point out that the trip is tremendous hard work and that the need to pull together as a team is vitally important.Uganda time takes some getting used to -the concept of keeping to time is not installed in most Ugandans. The daily travel is an adventure in itself, rules of the road ,there are none, that aside journeys end always brought a warm welcome.

As a team we successfully delivered the CWB message, trained up many Teachers who will hopefully carry on relying those messages through the game of cricket and formed lasting friendships that will enable us all to reflect and build on our time spent in Uganda.

I for one will return,CWB can and will continue to present a programme of awareness that will leave a lasting legacy for years to come.
