Team Uganda Have Arrived

After a long journey via Dubai, Team Uganda with all their bags have arrived in Lugazi. Some creative help from Gladys at Emirates check in was much appreciated as her flexible interpretation of our baggage allowance ensured all the donated cricket kit and hundreds of tennis balls have made it.

A brief stop of at the national cricket centre to watch a Ugandan premier league game resulted in us witnessing a fine hat trick of clean bowled dismissals by a talented left arm spinner. Furthermore we may also have just found the source of the Nile but more about that anon.

Tomorrow sees the first day of coaching at the Lugazi stadium and all the team are raring to go.

  1. Great work guys. Good luck from us all in Team Cameroon. We look forward to hearing more of your adventures in the days to come.

  2. Great to see the CWB team in Uganda. Karibuni! My best wishes to you all, particularly Tom flying the South Hill CC flag.

  3. Florence, aged 2 and a bit, wants to know if Uncle Ross is doing “Stretch & Grow” with the children like she does at nursery—- I think it’s called throwing in cwb speak
