On Friday 19th August 30 young people aged 5 to 12 took part in a ‘Cricket Without Boundaries’ coaching day at Truro CC. The day started with a quick slideshow showing the youngsters from all over Cornwall and their parents some of the work the charity does highlighting the poor facilities in Rwanda and raising the profile of the charity that delivers coaching sessions and adult education courses in 4 African countries to raise the awareness of HIV and Aids through cricket.

Truro CC donated the lunch and refreshments for the day and all the coaches gave up a days work to help out with Adrian Noott from Falmouth CC, Rob Harrison from Callington CC, Joe Dale and Tim Marrion both from Truro CC doing the coaching. The day raised £400 for the charity which will go along way in raising the awareness of HIV and Aids through cricket by supporting the planned visit this October by 8 CWB volunteer coaches to Rwanda.
