The day started, very much like England; overcast and windy, which was a relief to some of the guys after 4 days in the hot sun.

We were driven by our excellent driver, Moxie on the hour long journey to Kgabophutti primary in Moshupa.

Upon arrival, as usual, no teachers were in sight, the normal African day.

After they finally arrived and introduced themselves, the 13 teachers and the volunteers, were off out to the dustbowl under still cloudy skies for a quick game of continuous cricket with the teachers.

Charlie, Mark, Suresh and Dave led sessions in the basic skills of cricket, while Scotty slept in the van, catching up on sleep after 3 tough days of coaching in the blazing sun!

Followed by presentations of certificates to the teachers and Mark's HIV/AIDS awareness session.

Before lunch, Paul, our leader had the opportunity to meet the minister responsible for the Botswana National Sports council:

No lunch!

For the the afternoon session, Mr Blue Sky returned and temperatures soared to 40 degrees.

We were mobbed by 150 eager children from 3 local schools all wanting to play cricket. After games of continuous cricket, gifts were handed out to the children and the end of a good week by the boys from CWB.

Saturday is a well earned rest day before leaving for Francistown on the Sunday, calling in at the deaf centre on the way.
