\n\tAs Brits tend to, because we feel comfortable and safe chatting about it (that and tea), I’m going to start with the weather. Africa, the equator and the fact the only CWB stash we were given was shorts and t-shirts meant that <\/span>most of the group had expected sun on arrival. Instead, we were greeted with the British <\/span>staple – grey and drizzle. However, don’t worry too much, it has cleared (blogging from outside restaurant) and we have been promised by the CEO of the Ugandan Cricket Association (I assume he’s also chief of weather).<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\tAnd that brings us nicely to our first action of today – meeting the Ugandan Cricket Association at their offices, admiring all their impressive silverware and collecting many t-shirts. Most importantly we met the remainder of our crew for the next 2 weeks: Joseph (chauffeur extroadinaire), Alpha and Rocket (fellow coaches).<\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tThe rest of the day was a combination of driving, napping, pizza and the equator until we reached our destination and home for the 4 days.<\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tThere seems to be a small amount of confusion with regards to arrangements for tomorrow, something I am led to believe we will become used to, but I’m sure we’ll more than muddle through – everyone’s keen to get going now!\n\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
