What an amazing group of people the CWB volunteers are. They bring fun, enthusiasm, talent, kindness, energy, and the most incredible team spirit to Rwanda. It’s such a privilege to be part of this awesome group of interesting, passionate, and genuinely brilliant people.
Everyone brings something different – varied and complementary skills that somehow just click. That’s part of the magic. They’re not only brilliant to work with, they’re brilliant to spend time with too. The laughter, the support, the shared purpose, it’s all very special.
I thought it would be fun to turn the spotlight onto these fabulous volunteers, because they really are a key ingredient in making the CWB magic happen.
Our coaching sessions usually start with relays, where we ask the teams of children to choose a team name, normally their favourite animal. The creativity is always brilliant!
