Abi: Tell me about a place or a memory you have created?
Ned (1st time CWB volunteer): “For our first evening’s dinner Eric Nganga our Rwanda Cricket Association local coach took us to Jambo Beach: a beautiful spot by the side of Lake Muhasi in Kayonga, Eastern Province.”

Ned: “I enjoyed sitting by the side of the lake with the food and the gorgeous view. It was my first real chance to take it in and properly enjoy the view, which was different from when we were in the coach seeing the countryside going past at speed.”

Abi: Tell me about a person you have met?
Ned: “Eddie our driver! He seems up for a laugh, a happy, smiley guy, whose already gained the nickname ‘Rock Steady Eddie’ for his reactions with some unpredictable traffic. I wouldn’t want to be driving, what with all the trucks honking, the sheer number of motorbikes, and the seeming uncertainty whose got right of way! We’re glad to be in Eddie’s safe hands on the road.”
