The support from the staff at Leeds Trinity University and from Lee at Cricket Without Boundaries from the start to the end of the process has not gone unnoticed and has been crucial to the success of the group and the trip. We had multiple training days and weekly meetings about what to expect, what needed to be done and what we would be doing when we arrived in Rwanda.
A massive thank you to Sarah Todd for all her help and support in fundraising events and organising LOTS of paperwork! And Jo Clarke for answering endless questions and the constant reminders of what to pack!
For anyone at Leeds Trinity University thinking about doing this trip next year should know that you’ll never be left to work things out on your own, you will have continued support from members of staff throughout the whole process. The experience before travelling has been far less stressful than expected!
