Day 2 Hit the ground running.

First day of coaching and we racked up over 600 kids so we certainly hit the ground running.

Fantastic day meeting all these kids, I’m by no means a hugger but you just cant help but hug these kids with their beaming smiles. Especially young David who sprinted over from one end of the field to other to say thank you to me for giving him so much fun.

Quality to meet tall Eric who is such a top bloke. Without him onboard things would be so much harder but he can break down the language barriers. At 6ft shedloads i’m sure he can break down quite a few barriers if I’m honest. There was certainly an upping of heat between Eric and myself throughout the day of bowling drills. All of us from the experienced cricketers to the novices found today hard work but ultimately enjoyable.
