Last day of school coaching dawned in Rajbiraj with the group splitting for a final time. Those taking the City transport had more than planned both from sessions and experiences as only a single transport arrived for a group swelled by local coaches, word is the team from Guinness World Records are on their way.

For those heading out in the Scorpio the first school presented a familiar challenge with an initial count totalling 73 students across 3 stations swelling as children appeared from every direction reaching a final total of 114. Strong bowling batting and fielding all on show and a formal welcome as we set to depart.

Arrival at a lovely village school shortly after reaffirmed the value and message as the school had a teacher who was also a cricket change maker and the evidence both in skill and participation was clear to see.
Returning to a group lunch and savouring final experiences before heading to a open community session where many of the girls we’d encountered came to learn more with coaching led by local change makers and input from the team, some of whom had frequented a local cricket shop and now needed extra luggage allowance.

There is an air of sadness reaching the end of the coaching engagements and with a softball tournament to follow the team are in a contemplative mood reflecting on an experience lived and memories made.
