The First Day At School<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A little girl in a pink top was very nervous about her first day at school but her friend was looking after her. She was very quiet, studying what was going on and holding hands with the only girl she knew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cricket Without Boundaries turned up at the school to provide some skills sessions and our newbie refused to pick up the ball and throw it at the stumps. It was all too much. However, at the next skills session, with a bit of coaxing, she joined in with the catching. Then in the final session of rapid-fire she was batting and fielding with her team and loving her first day of school and first day of cricket!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    From the beautiful quiet of Bahira School to the gathering storm of Janpath! \ud83d\ude00<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Two wonderful schools today could not have presented more diverse coaching requirements! Our second visit of a very busy day was to Bahira School for Deaf Children, where over 80 enthusiastic children displayed their batting, bowling and catching prowess in virtually complete silence. Signing, with flapping hands (clapping) and third finger down (best wishes) and patting hands (thank you, thank you!) was the order of the morning, and a great time was had by children, teachers and coaches alike! Thank you Bahira! (pat, pat!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
