I&#8217;m Sara Begg and I am the Project Leader for this trip. I have been working in Nepal for the last 3 year where my PhD research is informing the focus of our Social Impact efforts in the country, co-creating programmes with the Cricket Changemakers (4 of whom are in this picture with me!). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m really looking forward to taking the team out this winter &#8211; we had some great recommendations and feedback from community members and participants in workshops we held in August and so the team are going to be super busy helping implement those actions and recommendations!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My ultimate roadtrip tune is (currently) Such Great Heights by the Postal Service<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Number 1 snack is samosas (when in Nepal) or Malt Loaf with loads of butter (when in the UK!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My Cricket Specialism is an immaculate front foot defence and developing the female coaching workforce!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Saqib Minhas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/cwbblogs.com\/nepal2024\/files\/2024\/11\/PHOTO-2024-11-19-14-38-43-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-30\" width=\"345\" height=\"259\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m Saqib. As well as my obsession with all things cricket, I also love bodybuilding, eating and music (currently in that order)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> &#8216;The first one was so nice, I had to do it twice!&#8217; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Since being a part of Project Nepal 1.0, I have found a new love for coaching and now (almost) prefer it over playing! I&#8217;m excited to be going back and connecting with everyone again.
