This team doesn’t seem to do downtime. With what is effectively a day off we’re on the bus and off to Hell’s Gate National Park for. 14 mile cycle ride through a volcanic landscape.
Excited, our enthusiasm was soon extinguished by the scrap metal before us that purported to be our bikes, many with only two or three of the 18 gears operational, and not the easy pedal gears either!
Surrounded by zebra, antelope and an extreme close up with a giraffe in fading daylight we just make it back before dark!
The next morning and our alarms are set for 5am. We’re off on an early morning safari before we visit an orphanage in the afternoon. It’s pointless describing a safari, the photos from Ali and Sian say more than any words can.
