I am a Primary Teacher, specialise in PE, my main sport being cricket.\u00a0 I spent 2 weeks in Kenya in April 2009 with CWB as a volunteer and found the experience to be extremely rewarding and something I will never ever forget.<\/p>\n

I am 27, and although young I have been very fortunate to achieve and experience a vast array of “experiences”, both here in Australia and abroad.\u00a0 I spent 18 months in 2009\/10 in the UK, in West Sussex, where I played two seasons of cricket and taught.\u00a0 I worked in various schools around Brighton as a Supply Teacher, then a term at Arundale School as the Director of PE, then a full academic year at Windlesham House School in the PE Dept.\u00a0 I returned to Australia in November last year, and have worked at a Primary School in Eastern Melbourne as the Sport and PE Co-ordinator.<\/p>\n

Rachael Dyer<\/strong><\/p>\n

I’m 24, I\u00a0work for Lincolnshire Cricket and am\u00a0based in Lincoln. I coach a variety of groups from schools to county age groups so can\u2019t wait for the challenge of \"\"<\/a>working within African Schools. Aside from the coaching I am looking forward to helping deliver the message about HIV\/AIDS awareness. I found out about this opportunity through the Belvoir Cricket Trust, which I have been involved with over the last year.<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s great to part of this trip \u2013 it\u2019s going to be an unforgettable experience and it\u2019s brilliant to be part of it!<\/span><\/p>\n

Jennifer Heppell<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m 27 years old and currently work in the Ticket Office <\/span>for Marylebone <\/span>\"\"<\/a><\/span>Cricket Club at Lord\u2019s Cricket Ground. I have played cricket for most of my lif<\/span>e and am captain of my local ladies team. I have travelled to South Africa and Swaziland several times during my life, and wanted to experience a new <\/span>country. I found that I loved where I\u2019d been so much that I wanted to try and give something back, and this trip to Botswana will hopefully help me <\/span>achieve this.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Ben Lougheed I am 27 years old and I have just left University having graduated with an MSc in Sport and Health Sciences. I hope to end up working in cricket as a coach or a sports scientist. I grew up in Luxemburg where I also learnt my cricket. I have been lucky enough to play international cricket for Luxemburg and I now am an international umpire on the ICC\u2019s European Panel. I am very excited about going to Botswana with Cricket without Boundaries and look forward to passing on my passion for cricket.<\/p>\n

Sam Stevenson<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m self-employed as a Marketing, Teambuilding and Events Consultant and do anything from building websites, delivering team building days for school \"\"<\/a>children and running swordfighting events, so my days are pretty varied. I\u2019m also a GamesMaker for the Olympics, working on the fencing (fortunately, I\u2019m a better fencer than I am cricketer!)<\/span><\/p>\n

I can\u2019t wait to get back to beautiful Botswana, work with the children and do something practical in the fight against HIV.\u00a0 I heard about CWB through the CEO of Botswana cricket \u2013 serendipity!<\/span><\/p>\n

Jonathan Todd<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>AKA Jono , I\u2019m 21 and from Chesterfield, Derbyshire. I\u2019m a returning volunteer having visited Rwanda twice in 2011 with both Spring and Autumn trips. Cricket is in my blood, with my uncle (Paul Todd) playing professional cricket with Nottinghamshire and Glamorgan. When I first started playing cricket I never thought I would be coaching it never mind in Africa. <\/span><\/p>\n

I went to college to study activity leadership which enabled me to gain a basic coaching qualifications to coach in primary schools. In 2008 I became a project development officer and a partnership coach for the Bolsover and District School Sport Partnership. I am currently a Level 2 cricket coach working towards my ECB Club Coach Award.<\/span><\/p>\n

Clare Fallis – Botswana Country Manager<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/span>Since finishing my Sports and Exercise Science degree in 2002, I have worked in the area of professional sports performance analysis, I then moved into sports media before ending up within my current role of developing coaching systems and services for sports coach UK (a UK based coaching charity).<\/span><\/p>\n

As far as cricket experience goes, I play for a local team and I am a level 1 cricket coach. So with my passion for cricket, my sports development experience and my keenness to give something back, I find myself at the beginning of a new adventure with Cricket without Boundaries and I am looking forward to working closely with the Botswana Cricket Association.<\/p>\n

Richard Anson<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/span>I am a Self Employed Cost Management Consultant and outside of this I am the Youth Development Officer at Exhall and Wixford Cricket Club where we run three senior sides, four colts\u2019 teams, a Kwik Cricket Section and a girls\/ladies team.<\/p>\n

I have my Level 1 ECB Coaching Award and am in the middle of taking my Level 2. Hip surgery, age and various other injuries have curtailed my playing aspirations in recent seasons, but I am an occasionally inspired left hand opening bat and a rubbish leg spin bowler.<\/p>\n

Although now based just outside Stratford upon Avon, I originate from the rough end of Kent and somehow ended up Captaining the Old Gravesendians CC 1st XL for several seasons.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>I’ve been coaching now for over 30 years and enjoy every minute working with youngsters and older people keen to learn how to coach as well as play the great game of cricket. I’m really looking forward to my first trip with CWB, my first visit to Africa, and I’m sure all the coaches travelling from the UK, as well as all the people we will be meeting and working with in Botswana,\u00a0will make the 2 weeks a fabulous experience. Only down side for me is that I absolutely HATE needles, so can’t wait until all the jabs are done!!<\/p>\n
